Kim's Coffee Shop

Kim's Coffee Shop
Photographer: Mike Kraynak
Date: September 9, 2003
Place: Penn Ave., Garfield, Pittsburgh
Why this sign?
Kim's Coffee Shop has the best food and doesn't serve coffee. [ed. note: I'd suggest the Thai Beef or the Pho.]

The "take out" sign is very Asian, in contrast to the American "to go". Its nice to see a "take out" sign in an American soil. Thank you, Mr. Kraynak.

Great Pic. I am desperate to find pics of Murray Ave shop signs. Do you have, or know where to find, any?

Kim's did indeed serve Vietnamese Ice Coffee (quite a specialty of the house, actually!)

A shame she closed shop. Does anyone know if she's reopening elsewhere?
