Station Square

Why this sign?
This photo was taken at night by my husband when the clipper ship was docking on our one year anniversary. We had our wedding reception on the Keystone Belle, and our rehearsal dinner was at the very popular Cheese Cellar restaraunt in Station Square.

Too bad the Cheese Cellar is now gone... it closed on Halloween, Oct. 31, 2004... pretty soon, ALL of Station Square will be closed if Pittsburghers don't come back for a visit more than once a decade!
Station Square has a couple terrific new stores: Occasion Station and Debwal, to name just a few! and it has the city's best, most romantic new restaurant called The Melting Pot... but these places -- and even The Hard Rock Cafe and Joe's Crab Shack -- are doomed with the chilling response of Pittsburghers to their existence.

I came home from atlanta and always stop by occasion station for a new charm or two or three. It's gone! Does anyone know where they went? Thanks, Jule jlmacie@uga.edu
