Why this sign?
Graffiti was a music venue on Baum Boulevard in Oakland. My friend Bryan Lynch and other bands are fondly remembered.

kurt cobain and nirvana almost burned graffiti to the ground, according to urban legend. apparently they set a fire in the dressing room...

I'm pretty sure I was at the Dead Milkmen show on the marquee here. Opening act was Soviet Disinformation, and I sang a chorus when they put the microphone down on the floor. Unless I'm thinking of another DM show at Graffiti around the same period.
Where are you now, Caroline Santa Cruz?

My friend googled me to find my address and came across this link the other day. She pointed it out to me. I remember going to the affordable floors. Joe, can you refresh my memory? 1987 -88 was a long time ago.
