Heppenstall Revisited

Photographer: Dan Buczynski
Date: April 25, 2005
Why this sign?
Shot this from inside the Heppenstall complex after Lawrenceville "Art All-Night." [Editor's note: We discourage taking photos from inside buildings, particularly old, industrial buildings. Dan, however, had received permission to do so.]

Memories...my husband used to work in the Blaw Knox Plant. I also had many other relatives work in the Lawenceville plant. We are now in Buffalo and my husband after 27 years is still carrying on the Blaw Knox name and products. We still "visit" the plants when back in Pittsburgh. What memories...

Nice sign. Would look good over the garden gate.
