Washington's Crossing Bridge

Photographer: Jonathan Mayes
Date: January 21, 2006
Place: Washington's Crossing, between Lawrenceville and Washington's Landing
Why this sign?
I bike across this bridge at least once a week on the way to the boathouse on the river below. I usually enjoy the different perspectives of the water, but recently noticed for the first time all the 'Seal of State' plaques on the railings. With very little pedestrian traffic on the bridge, I wonder how many people ever see these signs.
